Smith Family Art Studio
This 4 week advanced class focuses on ceramic sculpture and handbuilding techniques. Students are welcome to focus on self directed projects or follow along with the weekly projects and techniques presented. Pottery wheels are also available for use during this class if you prefer to wheel throw. Students purchase their own clay, avaliable for purchase at the studio. Glaze and Firing fees included in class price.

Make a musical instrument out of clay! Students will learn how to make a rattle, add textures, and detail. Price includes all materials, firing, and color wash of their choice. Ages 6 and up.

Work takes 1 - 2 weeks to be bisque fired and glaze fired. Once the work is finished, you will be contacted through email with pick up times!

What should I wear?
Comfortable cloths.
What materials do I need to bring?
It depends on the class! Shared studio tools, glazes, and aprons are available. Clay is included unless otherwise stated. Email us if you have any questions.
How do I register for a class?
You can register through the Sign Up button near each class. You seat is reserved upon completing check out. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, & Apple Pay.
What are the age ranges for your classes?
We offer classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Our workshops are designed to be fun for everyone. Kids under 6 require an attending parent/guandian.
Can beginners attend?
Absolutely. Everyone will recieve help and guidance, all skill levels are welcomed.
When do I pick up my work?
Are refreshments allowed?
Drinks are allowed with lids. Food is not welcome inside for safety reasons.
Are parents required to stay?
No, unless your child is 5 or under.
